HALLSVILLE, MO
Backroad Modern
Backroad Modern is a study in contrasts, where midcentury sensibility meets the familiar warmth of rural Americana.
Tucked into the wooded landscape of Hallsville, Missouri, this residential addition reimagines country living through clean architectural lines, rustic textures, and natural materials. Central to the design is a seamless connection between indoors and out, blurring the boundaries between the home and its surrounding landscape.
Equal parts modern and nostalgic, the result is an understated retreat that feels grounded in nature, rich in character, and distinctly its own.
